ESSR WEBINARS
Enjoy a premium educational experience, free for charge, that fits into your busy schedule. The ESSR live webinars are designed for radiologists and residents in radiology with an interest in musculoskeletal imaging. Beside selected open access videos, past webinars can be viewed at the ESSR eLearning Platform. The aim is to promote the society’s mission in education and research of the imaging of musculoskeletal diseases with a focus on the European tradition of problem solving in this field. New knowledge should be brought from science into clinical practice. The webinars contain interactive lectures given by opinion leaders in their field, clinical case vignettes, live discussions, and practice tips. Presentations are optimized for micro e-learning, i. e. for the comfortable use with mobile devices. The learning objectives are oriented on the requirements of the ESSR Diploma and the musculoskeletal part of the ESR board examination.

ESSR EDUCATIONAL COURSES
European Course on Spine Radiology
This Advanced course is jointly organised between the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR) and the European Society of Neuroradiology (ESNR) and is intended to provide a jointly effort to a deeper knowledge of X-Ray and CT guided procedures to give radiologists a wide range of new possibilities in treating the spine, reducing the risk of side effects and complications in comparison to conventional “open surgery”. Each cycle has two modules and will be repeated every two years.
CME Accreditation
The European Course on Spine Radiology is asking for CME accredition for each module.
ESSR MEETS NATIONAL SOCIETIES
Aims
- to offer high-quality advanced teaching in the field of MSK radiology to the members of national musculoskeletal radiology societies, incl. MSK subspecialty groups;
- to establish liaisons between ESSR and national radiology societies to attract and encourage active participation of their members in the ESSR activities (ie. ESSR membership, use of the educational platform etc.);
- to forge closer relationships and create the conditions for endorsement and implementation of ESSR guidelines and educational paths.
- Facilitate of young radiologist in the ESSR young club and in the AVATAR initiative
The ESSR meets * national society program is designed for Europe. Regarding extra-european countries, options to take include a) activation of the outreach program; b) an ad-hoc meets* program following bilateral intersocietal agreement (es. ESSR meets SSR) through the intersociety committee and the different committees and subcommittees of the ESSR.

ESSR OUTREACH PROGRAMME
Aims
- to fulfil one of the primary objectives of the ESSR in advancing the knowledge about the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders and to provide a European forum for education and research of musculoskeletal radiology
- to provide education in European countries where the access to high quality teaching in musculoskeletal radiology may be limited by financial or geographical constraints
- to support the educational activities of local groups or societies in these countries and to enhance the future cooperation of these groups or societies and the ESSR
